The degree lock-to-lock rotation of the Driving Force means you can turn the wheel two and a half times. Easily see if your steering is dialed in using a visual cue within your peripheral vision. The steering wheel stripe is a visual indicator of which direction the wheel is pointing. Maintain a more realistic driving body position with the separate floor pedal unit with integrated throttle, brake, and clutch pedals.
Driving Force lets you comfortably accelerate, brake and change gears with the feel of an actual car. The nonlinear brake pedal mimics the performance of a pressure-sensitive brake system for a more responsive, accurate braking feel. Logitech Driving Force GT not functioning properly

Also, irl, centering gets low if acceleration is low. And vice verca. Going around a corner slow and without throttle let's you without centering. Uphill, low gear, full throttle you have to grab the wheel to go around. Last edited by Kimo ; 24 Apr, pm. Problem solved: I had not realized that there are different profiles for games in the software for G So I just cheked the box for centering the wheels, and good things happend! Thanks for ansawring. Given that the vehicle is not pulling to either side, is this an alignment issue, or purely an issue with the steering wheel? First of all, that is the job of the shop where you did the alignment, not just the wheels they should also check if the steering is aligned with the position of the wheel they are entitled to do so.
Normally, to align the wheel to the tires you point the tires straight a head, loosen the coupler, pull the coupler off the splined shaft and re-orient the steering wheel, re-tighten, etc. If you are not familiar with this, or feel comfortable, I suggest you take it back. Plus you paid for a service, they should make it right. I have driven a car where the steering wheel center was slightly off-center when the wheels were straight.
No problem at all. As the problem was slight, nobody complained about it in mandatory yearly inspection. I drove the car 40 km like that. No accidents at speed whatsoever. If you had a 4-wheel alignment done, this was probably caused by the alignment so it's their job to fix it.
But otherwise I wouldn't care about the problem. If I were buying a used car that has this problem, I would carefully check the wear pattern of the tires. If the date code on the tires is old, and no unusual wear has occurred and the car hasn't been in an accidentI would say to the seller that it's very suspicious that the steering wheel is off-center and that it could be the sign of an improperly done alignment, so the problem of steering wheel being off-center needs to be fixed and the alignment needs to be checked.
So, I would negotiate the price way down. If the seller agrees to sell the car for reduced price, I would drive away smiling, fully well knowing that I got a good deal, and not do anything to the problem of steering wheel being off-center.
I think that your problem is caused by the incline of the road. So, in normal driving conditions, when driving straight, the steering wheel will be slightly tilted to the left for right side driving. Go on an empty road and drive on the other side of the road and you will notice the steering wheel will be tilted slightly to the right.

Hi folks, I'd like to play this game with my new LG Driving Force GT, I did some button bindings because this game officialy don't support my wheel, everything is working but wheel which is normally calibrated and working with other games, here is off center.
I tried to start game with wheel connected and I tried connect wheel ingame, everything, sill off center. As you can see here on screenshot. Is any way how to re-calibrate? Last edited by dmnc ; 19 Sep, am. Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments. I had the same problem with my Thrustmaster T in that the car was veering off to the right.
My default wheel rotation in the driver settings was degrees. I expect the wheel rotation can also be changed to higher than depending on your preference, but this setting was short enough to get the binding aligned properly for me. On I tried several times turning all the way but would always misalign and veer right. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 19 Sep, am. Posts: 2.

Game detects steering at zero when wheel is physically turned to left. Assetto Corsa and other games still center wheel properly. I tried reinstalling Logitech Gaming Software, deleting the device from device manager and deleting all related registry keys.
Nothing works. I don't have Project Cars 2 or any other software modifying registry keys. This is default setup. Someone else is having different issues with G so I've recommended isolating that as well. I couldn't get G-Hub to detect my peripherals including G29, only recognizes the keyboard.
I'm still using LGS. Thanks for confirming. The other person has G-Hub as well so it's possibly a different issue game. OK, this is weird. I routinely started my PC and connected my wheel just now. Tried F1 just in case. It works. I guess problems starting with 1. Maybe some software is interfering with my controller settings. I'll report back if it happens again or if I find the culprit. I think it can help you. Also, check your system for malware. Maybe something stops the work of some elements.

Global Achievements. It would be nice if the game allowed to set the "current" position of the steering wheel as centered. Because, even if I look at the wheel with test software out of the game, and the wheel is absolutely and correctly centered, the game sees it a little bit to one side - and I have to increase the deadzone to eat that bias away.
This makes the wheel a bit unresponsive. There was a perl script in the game forums and in a guide here for creating a virtual controller to cheat the game to use the wheel correctly, but for me that one only causes it to be off center to the other direction. Showing 1 - 9 of 9 comments.

If the game thinks the wheel is not centered, try again and turn the wheel slightly to the opposite direction to balance it out. Originally posted by Flarescale :. Thank you for the replies. I tried a new profile, but it did not help for me.
I also tried to cheat the wizard by turning the wheel before starting it, but it had no effect - it saw it as if I had started to turn the wheel only after starting the wizard. Hi I think I had the same problem as you, where IRL the wheel is centered but in game is slightly off, this is the solution I use takes literally 1 min and it works every time for me.
Just go into the settings to the tab to the CONTROLS tab, go down to the steering axis and change it by clicking on the wheel axis on the right side by example Logitech G29 axis and change it to the gas pedal propably doesn't matter just to have it changed then change it back to the wheel by when it askes for the new input steering all the way to the right so it nows the max angle, after it registered the wheel as the new input, center the wheel IRL and the yellow line should be centered in game to.
This should have worked first time, if not try again and at last you have to reregister the gas pedal since u used it for the trick or you'll won't drive very far.
Thanks for the reply. My question was almost five years old No problem I just started playing recently but better a solution late then never I guess If you need it in the future let me know how it worked out for you Have fun driving.
